Subject: More info about Boom Boom Room

I've been trying to find more info about the band Boom Boom Room, who had a hit in 1986 with the song Here Comes the Man. There seems to be almost nothing about them on the web, though -- exhaustive Google searches have not delivered much.

So far, it seems they were a British band (one member was possibly from Zimbabwe), and they may have been a gay band ...

Can anyone help with more info?

When I search "Boom Boom Room" it comes up with a roots club in San Francisco. Must be a pretty obscure band then.
