Please can anyone help out here?  I'm looking for a cartoon I used to watch as a kid in the late 1970s/early 80s :-\\ in Sydney.  It was on around the same time as Kimba the White Lion.  It was about a village of cave-men/prehistoryic type people with the main characters being a very gentle giant, and a young adventurous boy.  One particular episode this wee boy ran up a mountain to try to catch some cloud in a sack to save someone in his village.  I was only 6 or 7 at the time, but from memory it was Japanese style animation, but pretty simple in design.  Really nice cartoon and want to share it with my son!!!  Please help!!!!

I have discussed this with some other people, and we believe the cartoon you're looking for is "The Adventures of Kum Kum" (also known as "Naughty Prehistoric Kum Kum" and "Wanpaku Omukashi Kum Kum").

The Adventures of Kum Kum was a cartoon adventure series shown in late 1970s. It concerned the adventures of a Stone Age village during a time when there was no school, books or modern aids. Kum Kum was a small boy who with his friends Butterfly (small girl), Bumbles and Little Rock (both small boys), spent their days playing and looking for adventure. Kum Kum's father was called Strong-arm - he was the leader of the village.
