Send pix, make suggestions....I need help choosing an outfit for this party coming up.
It's a full-on Prom, circa 1984.
Now, back then I was doing a kinda Bananarama/Belinda Carlisle thing...but I WANT TO BE QUEEN AND ONLY YOU CAN HELP!
and I know you're dying to share your fashion pix.

My sister went to the Prom in 1984 and I remember seeing her friends dressed in LOTS of ruffles and lace. Gunne Sax was a big name back then and I know you can find them on e-BAy.

It was great and really wellput together.
there was a pro photographer so you could get a shot taken with your date. the paper was there doing a small story, there was "spiked punch" free for all in costume too.
I won prom queen and my prize was a 100$ bar tab! I'll be drinking free for months!
It was really good.
I found that dress in a local thrift store for 7$. Staten Island gives good vintage. :)
