Hi Everyone:
I just went to www.crashmansio.com and guess what? Flock of Seagulls is playing there on Feb. 9th and you can buy tickets online. They are only 20 bucks. Who wants to go? I am going to be there for sure!

Actually, sad to say I've seen them twice in the last few years out here in California at festivals and fairs.
Umm....they really, really, really sound awful. First time I chalked it up to a bad sound system.
Second time it was exactly the same....and the lead singer is totally lifeless.
Not even worth $20 unless someone else is on the bill with them.
It's funny though....in the last couple years I've seen The Motels, Berlin, Tears for Fears, Howard Jones, the Fix, The Psych Furs...and out of them all, only FoS sucked.
<shrugs>
And I was a HUGE fan....in fact, I saw an arena sized show of them opening for Thompson Twins in the 80s and the entire arena was dancing in syncy to I Ran....like 10,000 heads bobbing left and right....incredible sight.
