I would say first Freedom of Choice, followed by Oh No! It's Devo! New Traditionalists gets 'Honorable Mention'

I only own Freedom of Choice, which is awesome, but I like their 79-82 period best. I think "Are We Not Men?" is critically overrated, probably because it's so guitar-oriented.

New Traditionalists. I especially like the songs "Through Being Cool", "Pity You," and "Beautiful World."

Definitely "Freedom of Choice." However, I like many of the tracks compiled on the Rykodisc collections "Devo: Hardcore," which consists of music recorded mainly in the '70s, including "Jocko Homo" and the Zappa-esque "Social Fools."

There's something to love about each and ever bit of Devo out there, but I prefer "Are We Not Men?" "Uncontrollable Urge" is a fave.
