Here in the States they had "Take on Me" and minor hit "The Sun Always Shines on TV", both of which are masterpieces, along with all of the Hunting High and Low songs.
"Cry Wolf" is also one of my favorites.
The Sun Always Shines was actually a top 20 hit in America.
a-ha did exceptionally well here in Canada. All 4 singles from "Hunting High and Low" did well in our charts :) They even had a few late 80's hits, and some early 90's ones here

He made Take On Me a number one!!! Cool ass voice besides the girl I once was in love with was soo obessesed with him...damm. :\'(
