Subject: Music Videos
Written By: OliverDK on 12/04/05 at 3:52 am
It's a hobby of mine to put together VCDs with music videos, and I wanna make a 2-VCD set I call "Spirit of the 80s" and some of them are no-brainers, but I really would like some suggestions as to which videos to find.

-Hot For Teacher--Van Halen (big hair, flashy clothes, hot babes, not to mention a great rock song on top of it, quintessential 80s IMO)
-99 Luftballoons-Nena, Whip It-Devo, Who Can It Be Now-Men At Work (these totally captures the "kitschy" style of early music videos, something the 80s are known for, so bad they are good)
-Home Sweet Home-Motley Crue, Wanted Dead or Alive-Bon Jovi-(these two capture the spirit of hair metal bands and concerts of the 80's)
-Hungry Like The Wolf/Rio-Duran Duran, Two Tribes-Frankie Goes To Hollywood (the were some of the first cinematic style videos with a storyline to go along with them to come out, also very visually stunning)

Just make a 150 VCD set and put them all on there darn it! ;D
Don't forget "Betty Davis' eyes", "heat of the moment" and I agree with the earlier suggestion of "Video killed the radio star".
