Subject: ALF

I can't remember exactly when ALF ended its run on tv, so I'll start the thread here. Was there actually a series finale? The last episode I remember seeing left things pretty wide open, and then the TV movie they had a few years back really had nothing to do with anything from the show (at least that I remember). Can anybody help me out??

ALF went off the air in 1990. The final episode left on a cliffhanger ... ALF announced he's leaving earth to settle on another planet with Skip and his girl Rhonda, but he gets captured by the Alien Task Force
The cliffhanger continued in a TV movie called "Project ALF". I never saw it, so I don't know exactly what happened

Thanks!! All I could remember about the last episode was the closing scene had ALF standing between the Tanners and the Task Force.
That was one of my favorite shows when I was young, lol although watching some of those episodes (got season one on dvd) it really seems like a cheesy plot line now!! :D

Only if you're refering to the nickname for Alison Moyet, sweetheart!

Well, it's short of Alison, obviously. I guess the consonant "f" just defines the truncation. The 'zines said it was her father who gaver her the nickname, and he was French, so maybe it's a French thing. I dunno.
