Subject: old HBO movie need title from 1982-1983 HELP!!!

I am having the hardest time finding info on a movie I saw when I was 6-8 years old so this movie could be from 1980-1983. It was on HBO it was along the lines of a documentary or family film. It was about these wild dogs or maybe they were wolves and it had a narrator talking about the animals like they were a family it showed the animals in a den, from being born to growing up they showed the animals and made a storyline on them, I can remember them naming the different animals, if anyone remembers what I am talking about please post and let me know someone out there must have a better memory than me.... thanks, Tami

ya know, now that i read your post i can remember seeing this movie!! i have absolutely no idea what it was called though :( sorry
