Anyone remember Bonne Bell's HUMONGOUS Lip Smackers? Big honkin' sticks of lip pomade that left lips smooth and glossy and kisses tasting like various yummy fruits, drinks, and candies. Fun to use! The big size was the normal size and the small ones like the ones they make today were the minis. They brought the jumbo size back for a limited time, but many of the flavors were retired, never to be reinstated. Among the flavors I miss:
Candy Cane
Black cherry
Candy Apple
Cherry Frost
Strawberry Frost
Raspberry Frost.
Which classic LS flavors did you ladies (and your kissing partners) go for back in the day?

So I wasn't the only one who ate the LS's on occasion. ;D
I loved the Strawberry flavor the best.

;D LOL!!!!!!!!!! I am grinning from ear to ear!! I LOVED those things!...We used to trade them even...LOL..germs..gross..HeeHee..I loved the Dr Pepper..7UP..Tootsie Roll..Black Cherry..Mint Choc Chip...I still buy my daughter the Minis ev christmas in the candy cane...I want the BIG ones tho!!!

I remember when I was really little and my older sister had the 7up, Dr. Pepper and Root Beer ones. I 'stole" her Dr. Pepper one and took a chuck out of it, and got sick from it. It tasted good, but that wax (or whatever it's made of) was horrible. ;D But of course, I didn't learn my lesson because when I got a strawberry one once I bit into it and it tasted really good. I wonder if you ate a whole bunch of them if when you died ther'd ba a candle in your stomach. :D

An ex-girlfriend was crazy over those things. For some reason she couldn't go into the department store called 'Ann&Hope' and they were the only store that sold the oversized lip smackers. She made me go in there for her. The cashiers looked at me a little strange but I got over it. And hey "ex-girlfriend", if you're reading this, you know who you are and what you did to get banned form that store..........time to 'fess up. ;D
