My favorites were The Mon-Chee-Chees, Dungeons & Dragons, Pole Position, Thundar the Barbarian, and The Land of The Lost(even though it wasn't actually a cartoon) How about you guys?

I loved the Monchichi's too. Also liked the usual ones, as well as the Biskitts, the PawPaws, Get-along-gang, the Littles, Ewoks, Wait til Your Father Gets Home, Rubik the Amazing Cube and Meatball & Spaghetti!
ps: by usual I mean GI JOE, Thundercats, He-Man, Jem, Care Bears, MASK.

How about Dragons Lair:The Adventures of Dirk Daring? There was another with a teenager who got hit with a scientist's ray or something while he was in his car. He and the car became one and he could change from one to the other.What was the name of it? Come on Dru, I know YOU know!

I posted this on another thread...my favorite Saturday Morning TV show was The Secrets of Isis. I am actual real life friends with Joanna Cameron who played Isis. I posted a picture of us together on another topic (Bionic Woman Vs. Wonder Woman)
My other favorite shows from Saturday morning were:
Run Joe Run
Big John/Little John
Thunder
The Alpha Team- Search & Rescue

I also loved all the Kroft Shows... Kaptain Kool and the Kongs, WonderBug, Dr. Shrinker, Sigmund & the Seamonsters
Allthough alot of these started in the late 70's, the aired in to the 80's.

It's gotta be the Smurfs! My husband and I watched that even after we got married (1985!). We were just 21, and would flip it on in our first apartment in Miami.

Your slamming my favorite show!! :o I posted pictures on here of me and Joanna Cameron, who played Isis. She and I are real life friends...infact she just wrote me 2 days ago. She wants me to come visit her in 2006. It is an awesome show...we are hoping that they release it on DVD...a company called Entertainment Rights bought the whole Filmation Library. They did put 1 episode of Shazam! on season 3 of Wonder Woman, so hopefully everything will come to DVD eventually. But Isis Rocks!

I remember getting up before the station came on. Buggs Bunny, The Smurfs, The Land of the Lost, Dugoens and Dragons, Scooby Doo, and I beleive they ran until 11 or 12. Does anyone remember the after school specials? I know that's off the path but I remember that being a part of growing up in the 80's. :D

Snorks were a great cartoon.
Funny story. I have a cousin who is in her 20's. She is a soldier who did two tours in Iraq. I had wanted to get her the 20th Anniversary Rainbow Brite doll because she loved Rainbow Brite as a kid. I didn't however because I thought it would have offended her. (Because she is a tough soldier)
Needless to say I was wrong. She had a small Rainbow Brite doll that went with her on her tours. It's funny no matter how old you get or what you do, cartoons still bring out that same feeling.

for me, by the time the 80's came, i was not interested in any cartoons! just cars! lol! :)
