All I really remember is this guy who was an agent of some sort - kinda like "Knight Rider" - and his trusted helper was a computer that could create anything he needed, from a car to a helicopter.
Does that ring any bells?

We might have called something else in Denmark, I remember the computer using a curser to drawn whatever the guy needed.

That would be Automan - the best one season series EVER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!!
I bought the bootleg DVDs from Ebay - cool stuff.

That's the 80's for you... ;D but you needed to be a kid at the time to understand the excitement when Automan began in 1983. Kids of the 90's and 00's probably won't get it. The show led the way in sci-fi effects for tv.
Arrrgghhh just found out you're my age Jamie (born in '76 yes?)... how can you let the team down by dissing Automan! :D

Actually it is acceptable to spell it "potatoe" or "potato". So VP Quayle wasn't wrong, the people running the spelling bee goofed.
