Has there been a topic on this yet? There are song good songs with terrible titles, and some terrible songs with even worse titles. What are some of them? :)

Off the top of my head...
"The Cars That Go Boom" comes to mind. STUPID STUPID song btw.
Although I have to admit.. I have a hard time judging only the title, because even though a title may be strange/dumb.. it makes sense if you know the song. I'll have to look at some lists and find titles of songs I don't know. I could probably come up with more that way.

Would that be the 1988 hit "Cars With the Boom" by L'Trimm. I agree. That song was terrible
Uh, yeah.. and it's funny I was unclear on the title too. And now I'm more confused. I saw "Cars With The Boom" on a chart list from the 80's that was linked in another thread.
But, I had looked on CD Universe because I wanted to paste a link to a sample to the song and play a joke on someone... and on the CD it says "Cars That Go Boom". (don't worry, this link doesn't go to a sample.. just the picture of the cd and song listing)

One from 1980 springs to mind. It was a hit disco medley in 1980 called 'What Can You Get A Wookie For Christmas (When He Already Owns A Comb)' by the Star Wars Intergalactic Droid Choir and Chorale. It's actually not a bad song, but with a title like that, it's any wonder it even charted ;D

I actually like that song. :P We're tigra and bunny and we like the cars, the cars that go boom! One song from the 80's that I think is TERRIBLE is Rico Sauve. Or was that early 90's.

I like that song also. :)
I guess it's an age thing. I was only 12 when it came out.
Another crazy song title I remember, (it was from a hair metal band), was:
"Circular Flight of the One-Winged Sparrow" by Banshee. I believe it was an instrumental.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned this infamous song yet:
Da Da Da I Don't Love You You Don't Love Me Aha Aha Aha, by Trio
