Does anyone remember 80's roots-rockers The Blasters, led by brothers Phil and Dave Alvin? They never broke through commercially but my brothers were really into them, and I can remember my bro's cranking them up when I was about 13 or 14.

Old topic this one is, but I had to vote for "other". The Blasters appear in the 1984 film 'Streets of Fire', singing a great song called 'One Bad Stud'. As that film is my all-time favourite, I had to pick that song.
