Does anyone else think "Cool" by Gwen Stefani sounds like an 80's song?

Yeah it sounds like an 80's song, I thought it was a cover version or a sound-a-like. Afterall she did re-do "It's my Life" and she does dress like an 80's chick.

i've always found gwen and no doubt very reminiscent of the 80's. that's why i've always liked them so much!!

It's definately a hybrid of songs... the beginning sounds like "Wilson Phillips - Release me" and I'm still trying to figure out what the other bits sound like.

Considering that everything nowadays is going back to the 80s, I do think that "Cool" is an 80s style song.

To me it actually sounds like a song that Tiffany or Debbie Gibson would have done back in the day!
Definitely 80's sounding! ;)
