creepy crawlers i'm not sure the time period of when they came out but my brother used to have a creepy crawler machine and it was awsome. i might stiil have one of those bugs somewhere. That was an awsome invention. Anyone else have or once had one of these. c-ya

According to Wikipedia, some time in the 70's, Creepy Crawlies first came out. Hope it helps!

I remember the monster making machine, a precursor of creepy crawlers, was around in the 60's.
