Subject: I need help for a speech I'm writing
Written By: Judy Jetson on 08/02/05 at 9:10 am
Howdy!
I need your help.
I'm writing a speech about buying my young nephew all the hottest, name brand jeans from a second hand store in the 1980s. He hated the idea of shopping at second hand stores, until he saw all the brands the rich kids had, that he could never afford else where.
What I need from anyone on here who can help is - what were the most popular brand name jeans for boys in the 1980s?
I remember Jordache, Sassoon and Guess, but those were name brands for girls/women.
I think Girbaud and Mudd were the jeans guys wore, but am not sure. I remember finding a pair of jeans with a hand print on the back pocket, and that brand of jean at the time was very popular. Were those Mudd jeans?
Thank you for any help you can give me!

Jordache and Calvin Klein were men's jeans and Levis were popular. I had several pairs of designer jeans called Seattle Blues 8)
