Subject: Who would you cast in a live action Jem and the Holograms film?

I was watching Hit Me Baby 1 More Time last night and noticed that the lead singer of Missing Person's had Jem hair. This made me wonder who should be cast in a live action version of Jem and the Holograms Just say no to DUFF, Simpson (both of them), and Spears!!!!!
I'm still working on my list-> just wanted to know what eveyone else thinks.

How about Avril Lavigne as Pizazz? At first, I thought Courtney Love, but she's probably too old.

Gwen Stefani as a Misfit, Chritsina Aguilera (though I despise her at times)... though I doubt either can act.

The movie would HAVE to be set in the 80's... wouldn't it be the worst tragedy if they made it into a 00's rock chick film!
