Hey, I remember this one song that I think was called "Dancing with myself...."
Who is this by? I'm pretty sure Its an 80s song, I definitely sound like one.
If anybody can tell me, I'd appreciate it

It is from 1980 and it is written and performed by the one and only Billy Idol -though it has been covered once or twice. 8)

Dancing With Myself was originally recorded by Gen X in 1980. It reached #62 on the UK charts, but failed to reach America. When Billy Idol went solo in 1981, he re-recorded the song, released a video for it, but it didn't chart in either the US or the UK

Wow, never knew Gen X recorded it, I would like to hear their cut. I had a chance to see thme in a small club in Denver in 1984 and didn't. Keep asking myself Why didn't you see them?! :(
