INXS "I Need You Tonight"
Come over here
All you've got is this moment
Twenty-first century's yesterday
You can care all you want
Everybody does yeah, that's OK
So slide over here and give me a moment
Your moves are so raw, I've got to let you know
I've got to let you know
You're one of my kind
I need you tonight
'Cause I'm not sleeping
There's something about you, girl
That makes me sweat
How do you feel?
I'm lonely
What do you think?
Can't think it all
Whatcha gonna do?
Gonna live my life
So slide over here and give me a moment
Your moves are so raw, I've got to let you know
I've got to let you know
You're one of my kind
I need you tonight
'Cause I'm not sleeping
There's something about you, girl
That makes me sweat
So how do you feel?
I'm lonely
What do you think?
Can't think it all
Whatcha gonna do?
Gonna live my life
How do you feel?
I'm lonely
What do you think?
Can't think it all

Hehe, I actually do listen to it to help me fall asleep when I can't sleep. I imagine myself rollerskating to it at the old rink where I used to hang out when I was a kid. My parents would never let me skate because they were afraid I'd break a bone and they couldn't afford the doctor bill, but I would hang out there and play arcade games and watch the cute boys skate and dream that one day I would skate, too. LMAO
That song and "Rock Me, Amadeus" remind me the most of those rollerskating days.

Billy Idol - Blue Highway
Hey, can't believe somebody mentioned "Blue Highway" - rock on! I love that one, first time I heard it a few years ago, I was amazed it was just an album track and not a big hit - sounds like a hard rock variation of the Harold Faltermeyer/Beverly Hills Cop sound.
As for me? Even if I were to narrow it to the 80's, that would still be too many to list!! Put it like this, the same songs I was introduced to when I was a 3-year-old toddler in 1985 I'm still listening to all the time in 2005 (and all the years inbetween!). ;)
That either means (1) they're really good songs, or (2) I don't change tastes much. Probably both. :D

I only recently heard it on the 'About Last Night' soundtrack - IMO, it sounds really similar to Whitney Houston's "How will I Know", so I'm surprised it wasn't a much bigger hit.
