I was just wondering if any one knows what company makes wheat hearts the hot cereal and if I can still get it. i would like to get my mother some for mothers day.

I am also trying to find Wheat Hearts. I live in the Northwest. No luck at Fred Meyers, Albertsons, Safeway, Haggens, or Thriftway. I will special order if I have to. Have you had any luck?

According to the following site, and several Google hits, General Mills made Wheat Hearts Cereal.

However, the General Mills site does not list it among its cereal products, not even as discontinued. Typing "wheat hearts" (with the quotes) in the site's search engine got no matches. Without the quotes, pages with the words "wheat" and/or "heart" were returned. They probably discontinued it a long time ago.

It's possible they sold the cereal to another company, but not likely if it wasn't a brand separate from the "Big G" line of cereals. A little Google research would help you out there.
