I really like "Hearbeat" from the first album. It's such a good pop song.

From the list alone, I picked "Last Christmas". However, I do love Everything She Wants (other).

If he ever did! The blonde from the "I Want Your Sex" video -Cathy's her name- posed as his girlfriend in public for a while, but I suspect he paid her. The 80s were a funny time for that sorta thing. Even Marylin kissed a girl in his video, as if half the world didn't know he was gay. ::)

other: Club Fantastic Megamix. It was Wham!'s 5th hit single, and was basically a collection of tracks from their "Fantastic" album in one giant medley. Fantastic is my favourite album of the 80's :)

Truefully speaking, how much did Andew Ridgley contribute towards Wham!'s success?

He was nothing more than a face for the album covers ;D
He played guitar on most of the tracks. He only co-wrote two Wham! songs, one of which 'Careless Whisper' ended up becoming the debut solo hit for George. Always thought that was unfair

I didn't put "Careless Whisper" on the list, because up until recently, I thought it was a George Michael solo recording -DOH!

It appears on the Make it Big WHAM! album, but it was George's first solo hit

I still spin "Everything She Wants" once in a while in my radio show. It's probably the only Wham cut I can stomach on a regular basis.

'Club Tropicana'...full of cheese, but brings back happy memories...
Incidentally, George was so embarrassed by the video to 'Bad Boys', that he pulled it from general viewing shortly after its peak, which is why it's very rarely seen these days...

Of course "Everything she Wants" is a classic record. "Careless Whisper" was the first George Micheal debut single.
I always liked "Freedom" and "Im your Man" . Poor Andrew Ridgely is he a car salesman? ;D

I heard that he now owns a farm in the West Country of England.

It's a toughie alright...they've done some great pop, but I have a particular affection for 'Everything She Wants' 'Freedom' and 'Wham Rap'.
