I would maybe even include Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet" and Guns N Roses' "Appetite For Destruction". Those albums are classics.

One thing I noticed I commonly do when reviewing music is comparing songs and albums, so here's a few 80's rock/hard rock albums that always struck me as similar to Hysteria:
Similar vein:
Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
Whitesnake - Whitesnake
Motley Crue - Dr. Feelgood
Dokken - Under Lock & Key
A little heavier:
Guns N Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Alice Cooper - Trash
Ozzy - Ultimate Sin
A little more pop-ish:
Loverboy - Lovin' Every Minute of it
Survivor - Vital Signs
Honeymoon Suite - Big Prize
