"Whip It", while very 80s, was not that big a song. Big enough, but there was maybe 80 bigger songs in 1980.

And two I really liked that never got too popular...
1. I May Hate You Sometimes - The Posies
Came out in 1988 but I think I heard it on the radio more in the 90's than when it first came out. I guess our radio station was a little late to catch on to it :)
2. Can't We Try - ??
