"The Gods Must be Crazy"- This movie was always playing at the "Artsy" movie theaters, not the popular mainstream theaters. It also became a popular "midnight movie" in Louisville, whenever theaters wanted a break from "Rocky Horror".

"The Gods Must be Crazy"- Wes
Seen it, and liked it. As for myself... hrmmm
I liked "High Spirits" with Steve Guttenberg and Peter O'Toole.
Also "Weird Science"
"License to Drive"
All the "Nightmare" films.
All the "Halloween" films except for part 3
"Flight of the Navigator"
"D.A.R.Y.L."
"The Witches" although that may have been early 90's
"The Worst Witch" with Tim Curry and Firuza Balk
"Little Spies"
"Killer Clowns from Outer Space"
"Clown House"
The one with Ethan Hawke where he and his friends go to space.
"Dead Poets Society"
"The Chocolate War" - This movie is VERY VERY 80s.
"Warlock"
"Little Monsters"
"Teen Wolf Too"
"The Wizard"
....

I don't think Heathers came out until 1990, at least not in Australia.
A great cult movie was Pink Floyd The Wall 1982. 8)
