I'm a huge fan of JEM & THE HOLOGRAMS
No doubt my
favorite cartoon ever. I'm probably the
only guy that watched the show too lol
I recently purchased the complete
1st and 2nd seasons on DVD.
I'm thinking about dressing up as a jem girl
for halloween. last year me and my best
friend were video game vixens
her - chun li (street fighter) me- kasumi (dead or alive)
we had our costumes customed made. I had my makeup
and stuff professionally done. we looked awesome.

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I always go all out.
This was actually the 1st time I ever went out in
drag. Not the most comfortable thing either.
I don't see how you girls do it lol

yes, I remember Jem....
my sister used to watch it...
but when it originally aired, it was part of a larger cartoon show.
It had 3 cartoons in all....... Robotix, BigFoot & the Monster Machines, and then Jem
Then after they took Robotix away, it was replaced with Inhumanoids.....
Then Jem got her own show....
its sad how I remember these things..

Jem was an AWESOME show!!! I used to watch it in the morning before I went to school. I always wanted her earrings...I thought they were the coolest thing!!!

Man I loved that show. It used to be on before Bravestarr, so I always watched it with my sister. I borrowed the DVD a while ago, and man was it awesome. I have to get it at some point.

Jem was my fave cartoon too, the only one I'd watch at the time. It did, however sh*t me when one of my best friends would start bringing "Jem talk" ie:lines from the show into daily conversation. Eg: "Alright, cut the small talk, what are you really trying to say?"
So it was good vs bad, Jem & The Holograms vs The Misfits. Kinda like Culture Club and Duran Duran, 'cept all they did was put sh*t on each other in the media. I wouldn't actually mind seeing an episode of Jem, for old time sake, :D

Hey, Im another guy who loved watching JEM in the 80s!!! AND Ive dressed up like them a few times for costume parties! Sooo...you are NOT the only one! What is it about those girls that would make us GUYS do that??? I was dating a girl named "Jen" back then, and I used to get in trouble for calling her "JEM" a few times...

Oh Jem! I loved her too! I wasn't totally crazy about the doll though, because I would try to put my Barbie clothes on her, and they would never fit! (The Jem doll was slightly bigger than a Barbie doll.) But yes, I also watched to cartoon every day before school. Who didn't?

I'm another guy who loved JEM,. I probably like it even more now than i did then. I Loved The Misfits they were & are my favourite, i thought they were very cool, cooler than Jem & The Holagrams in my opinion. They were nastyyyyyy ohhhhh yeaaaaaaaah. My girlfriend actually had the Stormer doll just up untill last year. She gave it away to one of our friend's little daughter & now she really regrets it & that comes up in conversation every time i start talking about the 80s. I'm sure this little girl doesn't appreciate it as much as my girlfriend or someone who grew up with it. I told her she was crazy to just give it away & that she'd end up regreting it. :o ::)
