This film seems older than it really is, doesn't it? Perhaps it's because it's from a kid's perspective. I like the "Your Anus" line, very outdated ;D

loved the movie. i like the fact the kids were playing D&D at the beginning of the movie and elliot insults one kid by saying "zero charisma"

Agreed. What a great film and the "Your Anus" line is outdated.

that's when those guys were teasing him about the alien (who at first was thought to be a goblin). Toward the end of the movie they joined his side to help e.t. return to his spaceship.
