"Gambler" was my all time favourite Madonna song. You never ever here that on the radio anymore which such shame.

I didn't know "Spotlight" was released as a single. I'm from the UK and they wasn't released in the UK as a single. Neither was my other favourite Madonna single which was the fantastic "Keep It Together". That was only an album track in the UK but was released as a single in the US.

well i would say "like a prayer" is my favorite 80's madonna song, but I MUCH prefer her recent work. it's a shame because i feel that many people still consider Madonna to be an 80's artist, and that her best work is from that era, but if you listen to her most recent records "ray of light", "music" and "american life", you will find some amazing songs - I recommend "drowned world", "nobody's perfect", and "intervention"

Spot light was reslesed in jan 1988 and was reseled in the US JAPAN

You know, I was wondering about that too! I mean, the username, Dave Brown, implies that the person is male, but the gender icon is pink; sure enough, on his/her profile, the word "Female" appears next to gender. ::) ???

It Was Number one in Japane but it only Reached 32 in the US Jan 1988
