I am pretty sure it was just a man rather then a group. Definatly not a woman.

If it is from an 80's dance movie like Breakin' , Rappin' or Beat Street I have those on VHS. I don't recall the song but if I have time next weekend I will watch the movies and let you know whether I find it.
