what's the one thing you miss the most about living in the 80's?
if you never actually lived it (like me, a poser... ::) what would you be most excited to see?

The tunes, discotheques/clubs (as they were then), arcades, drive-in movies, rollerskating rinks and styles.

I miss the general feeling that all was right with the world.
I miss playing kickball, football, capture the flag, and flashlight tag with all the kids in my neighborhood......pre-Nintendo
The simplicity of Super Mario Brothers (the original). "Thank You, but our Princess is in another castle."
Building a treehouse in the backyard with my friends, while listening to Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Beastie Boys, Def Leppard (when they were originally released)
When NOBODY had "The Wizard of Oz" on video, and it was just a yearly event on Televison (usually around Thanksgiving)...and your whole family would gather round for it.
Sitcoms.....the 80's was when sitcoms hit their perfection. Cosby, Cheers, Family Ties, Night Court, Different Strokes,
ahhh...I could go on and on....
I just miss a lot of things....

I miss just going to school and not having any real responsibilities. When I worked, the only thing I had come up with from paychecks was gas money and $20 to my mom for insurance. Other than that I could blow my paycheck on whatever I wanted.

The music , the girls with thier ratted out hair and cats eye makeup. Not to mention the tight jeans. I really miss MTV when it was worth watching. Now it just cRAP music.
Oh, and nobody had cell phones. But, you could get 25 people at a house party in no time. Now you cant meet a friend at the coffe house.

Good arcades!!!!!
I used to be able to goto the mall and play GOOD arcade games....... Now there is just garbage in arcades... Even if they have older games,ITS NEWER DIGITAL CRAP AND NOT THE ORIGINALS!!!! (Not as good at all (Not to me anyway))
I have MAME and man do I wanna play these games ON THE ACTUAL 80s MACHINE!!!

Good arcades!!!!!

I agree with this, arcades used to have good games.
