OK, let's think about their videos as well... did Journey ever make a pleasant video to sit through? And besides, at least The Cure is still around(they released a new video).
It's not like I hate the Journey(I like Seperate Ways and Remember Me), I just think there are several better bands.

IMO, The Cure has more depth, talent, music videos and better songs than Journey
Since rap (Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J) isn't popular here and Madonna wouldn't have many votes...
Guns N' Roses...maybe?
Billy Idol...perhaps?
Cyndi Lauper... it's possible...
The Cars... might work
Since Journey's a '70's band that crossed into the '80's
Why not another '70's band that had hits in the '80's like Heart or Aerosmith 8)

Journey beat INXS??? OMFG! That's a sin... What's wrong with you people. Definitely the Cure here. I saw them back in September and they were brilliant. I wouldn't be caught dead at a Journey concert, or with a Journey CD for that matter.

Hey, Journey was a 70's band which for some strange reason managed to have hits in the '80's until they faded into obscurity and I can't wait to see Steve Perry in the next installment of "The Surreal Life" ::) :D
