Oh boy, where do I start with this? ;)
If I talked about the movies themselves, it would take a novel up, so here's a list of my Top 20 in no particular order:
1 Do I really have to say what this one is, based on my s/n? ;D
2 UHF
3 Police Academy (#3-6 are all tied for my fave)

5 Airplane
6 Honey I Shrunk the Kids
7 Ferris Bueller's Day Off
8 Naked Gun 1
9 Ghostbusters 1 & 2
10 Great Outdoors
11 Summer Rental
12 Planes Trains and Automobiles (are you seeing a John Candy pattern? LOL)
13 Like Father Like Son
14 Vice Versa (both are "switch" comedies popular in the late 80's)
15 Ernest Saves Christmas
16 Ernest Goes to Jail
17 Caddyshack 2 (yes I prefer this over #1! ;) )
18 Natl' Lampoon's Vacation
19 Secret of My Success
20 Howard the Duck (go ahead and laugh - I loved it though, even the duck!) ;D

Cool, I didn't know Big Business was a "switch-eroo" comedy - if John Candy is in it, that's double reason to watch! :)

It was set where I live, and my neighbor has "the boat" the movie is filmed in Falmouth, which is a Cape Cod town. The ferry was rented from Block Island. It is not a real Steamship Authority vessel. I have been to Woods Hole, where they make the jump.

"Fast Times at Ridgemont High" & "Caddyshack." There are some lesser known ones I like, but those are perennial favorites. Here are a few others:
"Rainman" "Field of Dreams" "Terms of Endearment" Lethal Weapon films, #2 in particular; Indiana Jones Trilogy, "Moonstruck" "When Harry Met Sally" "Mermaids" (or was that 1990?), "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, European Vacation and Family Vacation", "Home Alone" (crap, I think that was 1990, too! Ughh!) and so much more...

Breakfast Club, although it's caused me enough trouble (my name is Claire, BTW) from the vast over-use of my name in an insulting manner!
I'll let them off though because the god-like Judd can ask me anything he wants to. Yum.
Also, love Pretty in Pink. Anything with Annie Potts in it (preferably where she has to answer the phone) is fine by me!
