Yes the "ghost singers" behind Milli Vanilli didnt sound bad at all.  I assume they just werent good looking enough for Hollywood so they threw two male models on stage and passed it off until the public caught up with them.

MV was a good show, awsome dance, great songs. I couldn't have cared less they weren't singing, still cool. Not fair they never got a chance to get old and fade instead the industry made them crash & burn :(

NKOTB! I just REALLY did not like them from the get go. Call me koo-koo but I still like to listen to Milli Vanilli Charles Shaw, John Davis, and Brad Howe. :P

I actually liked NKOTB back in the day. And while I like the songs that were credited to Milli Vinilli, the whole lip syncing thing lost my respect. (for whatever that's worth)  :D

It's interesting that even as adults, people still hold their child-teenage grudges or hatred of certain singers or musical groups.  If you were a teenager in the mid 80s and thought you were too cool for Michael Jackson, you probably still hold the same view.  If you hated New Kids in the late 80s because you were too cool for them, you probably still hold the same view, regardless of how many years later it is. 

I picked Milli Vanilli, just because the lip synching scandal.  The singers that actually sang the song went along with it too.

I liked NKOTB. They sang (not well) on their songs, at least. Milli Vanilli fooled everyone, though I liked their songs. So I voted Milli Vanill.

Strangely enough, one of the members of NKTOB is now an actor, Danny Wahlberg was in The Sixth Sense, Ransom, and in the short lived TV series Boomtown.
