I love 80's ballads, these arnt really my favorite though..I like more stuff like MIchael Bolton, Richard Marx, Whitney Houston, Tommy Page etc...

Poison didn't become popular until the late '80's. This poll is about ballads from 1984. Though they did have great power ballads. 8)

I'm going to go with that vote for Somebody. Martin Gore is amazing on that song and the live performance on 101 is quite something.
As far as the poll choices, I'm going with Purple Rain, Drive, and Almost Paradise.
