8) Electric Dreams -a true 80s period piece. Just look at the closing sequence: the legwarmers, the roller scates, the brightly coloured ghetto blasters on the beach. Not to mention an awesome 80s soundtrack.

Stand By Me is one of my favorites also, being a Stephen King fan and all.
But...I actually have a tie for my #1.

(Sidenote) Ultimetly, I'd take "Vision Quest" hands down...the BEST of the '80's

There were many good movies from the '80s but 1982's Diva has always been my '80s favorite.
