I was wondering if here remembers or had a pair of KangaRoo shoes, they where shoes with pockets on the side. I am also wondering when they first came out? Thanks.

i had pairs of KangaRoos when i was in grade 8. that was back in '84 and '85. i kept my spare key in the pocket, just in case i was ever locked out of the house and no one was home. well, this one time i was locked out, after agonizing and finally remembering i had the spare key in the Roo pocket, i pulled it out only to find it useless from corrosion....

those sneakers were popular with kids who hung out on the "sunnyside" of my school(meaning druggies who liked the pockets for "storage")
