Subject: pogus caesar has photographed black music legends
Written By: steele on 11/13/04 at 1:51 pm
Who remembers how great birmingham england was for live music in the 1980's..great bands like the wailers, black uhuru and cameo, we used to go to places like odeon, top rank, barbarellas and locarno!!!.. reason that I'm remembering is that there's a really good exhibition called 'muzik kinda sweet' by pogus caesar he photographed some legendary black musicans who came into Birmingham...go see for yourself at http://www.oomgallery.net
there's a really vibrant image of the late reggae superstar dennis brown....so good.
enjoy it..steele
