I heard someone say on the radio that you know you're a child of the 80s when 1999 seems such a long way away. ;D Let's run with this, how do y'all know you're a child of the 80s?
Me 1st: You know you're a child of the 80s when you stay up all night, watching re-runs of Countdown and Rock Arena on TV.

Hell yeah! You watched Pee-wee's Playhouse with a big bowl of cap n' crunch and then changed the channel to watch the cartoon series based on children's stories/novels "Storybook something".

- You still say "awesome", "boug" (a shorter form of bogus), and "gnarly". Yes, I do. How pathetic is that? :)
- You have a poster of the Pacman Fever album hanging in your office :)
- Your wife has the 80s poodle do, and neither one of you care what people think :)
