I want to know the artist's name and song name. Everyone remembers part of the song and nothing else. "I don't ever want to stop loving you girl, if you never stop giving me love"- Or something like that. Then the lady sings it back to him and instead of saying girl, she says boy. The song was from the mid 80s and all I remember is that it was a woman and a man singing it. I think they were black but I am not for sure. Thanks for any help!

I'm trying to find it for you. I remember the song. The lyrics went like this:
I don't ever want to quit loving you girl, so don't you ever stop giving me joy". She would basically echo him, but place the word boy instead of girl during her part.
Was it Ready for the World? Ray Parker Jr.?
