Subject: missing song name!

I heard it today on the radio. It sounds a bit like Joe Jackson or Alan Parson Project and probably is from 80-84. It goes like "...Jenny's always running around trying to find..."? Please help.

Do these lyrics look familiar? If so, then it's "Johnny and Mary" by Robert Palmer. It's from the "Clues" album (1980). From what I hear, he collaborated with Gary Numan on that record!
Johnny’s always running around

Mary counts the walls
Knows he tires easily

Excellent! That's it. I couldn't find those words in google. Maybe cos it was Johnny- not Jenny who's always running around.

Of Course not! To this day, Jenny's still running around trying to erase her number off bathroom walls(867-5309)! :D That's the only Jenny I know form that half of the 80's
OTOH, in the later half of the decade, Johnny played guitar & Jenny played bass (Pop Goes The World). ;)
I'm curious as to who remembers both those songs.
