"The Sun Always Shines On TV" by A-ha...it made me go to film school.  The editing in it is so perfect.

Also the Jacksons' "Triumph: Can You Feel It" which has a conspiracy against it.  For some reason it is never allowed to be shown anywhere, ever.  Even MTV2 didn't show it when they supposedly showed all their videos....

Well, let it be said once again that my favourite video of all time is "Dancing With Tears In My Eyes" by Ultravox. The song is kind of blah to me now, but the video has got to be the best ever made. Other favourite videos include, in no particular order:

If I remember correctly, Midge isn't coming from the lab. (The others work there though, I think? It's been a while since I'd seen it.) He was just walking down the street when he saw the warning of a nuclear explosion on some television screens in a shop window. Then he runs home to be with his wife or whatever.

My one absolute favorite video of the entire decade is Duran Duran's Save A Prayer.

Honestly, any and all Duran Duran videos are my fave.

The Holiday video for Madonna was actually a bit of a cheat.  The one I see being played on Music Video Channels here in Australia is, I think, her performance on Britains Top of the Pops.  It shows the 'Material Girl' dancing and 'miming' the song with two back up dancers, one of whom is her brother.  I don't know if this is true but someone told me once that her brother is not a very nice person. There you go.
