I remember the mom helping this girl and boy and then seeing them watch through the oven door. sound famililar or am I imagining this?

I actually got to make those for an art class in the 90s....
In the same art class, I got to make tie-dye shirts ;)
Anyway, no I don't remember... might have been during my toddler years.

;)I remember baking a Christmas tree shrinky dink. Iloved watching it shivel in the oven. Do you remember those toys that "grew" in water? They were like made of a gel substance, and it took them a while to "Grow".

shrinky dinks were incredibly AWESOME!!! My mom would buy me a box of them and we would put them in the oven and watch them shrink away!!! I used to have all sorts of neat-o ones.....I wish they still made them.....however, I could probably find them on Ebay....you can find all sorts of cool vintage toys on there!

My friend Sarah made some really cool one for me. There are all arcade or punk related, and I can use them as key chains and what not.
She gets them from the flea market and Goodwill.

Santa brought Vaughn some Shrinky Dinks for Christmas...and let me tell you....I had fun doing them....I think more than Vaughn did. I got all excited as I knelt by the oven and watched in glee...as they shrunk...so cool! 8) :D
