Does anyone know where I could download the McDonald's commercial "Little Sister"? I haven't seen since the 80s . but It's still my favorite of all time. Please Help me relive my childhood for 30 seconds

Sure someone will figure out a way for you to find the commercial, wish I could help. BTW, I thought the Ronald McDonald(s)?? of the 80s and 90s were much funnier than this new one, he's not funny and is supposed to be a clown.

Is that the one with a brother and sister through about 10 years of their lives and they didn't get along until they were much older (and wiser)?

It was on in the early '80s I think. If we're talking about the same commercial, it was very popular. I knew a girl at the time who said she cried everytime she saw it!

I'd like to see again myself.

;)

I'm vaguely recalling this, was the little girl munching on some fries and happy and all?  Was it one of those , You deserve a break today...song ones?  If so, I too would love to see it!

Nnnnnooo, I think I remember the ad, it was a REALLY sappy one.  A sentimental number about a girl who always tagged along with her big brother to McD's, and they looooved eachother.  Retch retch retch!

I would love to find a site of old Mc Donalds commercial one in particular has held me hostage for years!
I'm almost sure it was the 80's and might be in the brother/sister series, I remember because i had an annoying little brother in the 80's.
Anyways it was a piano recital and the little girl (I think) is up on stage and shes playing that really popular song Fur Elise and shes thinking made up words to it in her head and everytime I hear that song those words pop into my head! :o They were...
Oh , I wish I was already there,  instead of here,  playing this dumb song
(midi  link to Fur elise... http://rivendell.fortunecity.com/redguard/636/midi.html)
she was promised a trip to McDonalds after the recital i guess and I think i remember that her little brother was making faces at her from the audience and she was exasperated about the whole thing... GEEZE if I could just hear it 1 more time MAYBE i could get it out of my head!
anyone else remember that one?

When I was teaching, Ronald came to our school to do some show for the kids. I was "volunteered" to join in. I did a "Vanna White" type thing-revealing letters. I really hammed it up and he thought that was kind of cool. He said something to effect, "We should go out for coffee sometime." Now, I have been asked out by a bunch of clowns before but that one deffinately took the cake.  :D

I do remember that one. If I remember correctly, after she finished Fur Elise, she played the McDonald's theme.

btw, I went to your Midi link. What a cool site. I did put it on my favorites list.

"I'm lovin'it" stinks. I miss the commercials from the 80's when Ronald sang, Do you believe in magic?" NTM "It's a good time for the great taste" and "You deserve a break today". Any other good ones?

Doc

Going back even farther-McDonald's is your kind of place.

We used to sing other words to that one:

McDonald's is your kind of place
They serve you rattle snakes
They smush them in your face
They have no parking place
McDonald's is your kind of place
(I really can't remember this line)
McDonald's is your kind of place-In outer space!

Im lovin it, what a bunch of crap.

I remember when McDonalds used to be more of a family oriented plate, where kids loved it.  Lately around here theyve torn out all the playlands, made the dining areas a fraction of their original size, and replaced almost all the seats with tall barstools.  They expect me to sit my toddler on a 3 foot high barstool with a stone tile floor, or expect my grandpa to be able to hop up there?

McDonald's commercials also used to be family oriented during the 80's.Now,they have a whole bunch nobodies singing:

"ba da ba ba ba....I'm lovin it"  >:(

Where's Ronald when you need him? ;D
