I must say it was tough because I like "Better Be Good to Me" almost as much. "Typical Male"'s pretty good too. :D

I always liked her 1985 song
"We Don't Need Another Hero", which was used in the movie "Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome".

I agree...produced by Heaven 17. This was after her inclusion the BEF (British Electric Foundation compilation "Music of Quality and Distinction." Her version of "Ball of Confusion" is the best on the album.

What the heck, I'll also go with...
"What's Love Got to Do With It"
and her remake of
"Let's Stay Together".
(I heard them on the radio this past week and I didn't change the station, soooooo, you know what that means -- I likes them!)

Then I have to ask what you think of her song "One Of The Living". ???
It was also featured in that movie, and it happens to be my favorite by her. :)

It's probably been over 10 years since I've seen the movie, but I checked and the song doesn't sound familiar...

Sorry, "Private Dancer" is a great song, but being the Miami Vice fan that I am, I had to go with "Better Be Good To Me", although "What's Love...", the definitive TT classic, was also featured in one episode. Still, how was "Simply The Best" left off the list?

If you look at the video, a 'private dancer' is illustrated as one hired as a dance partner or to be watched.

I went to see Tina Turner in concert in 1988. My cousin worked for Pepsi and always got us free tickets for concerts. I'm gonna vote for "What's Love Got To Do With It", but I love her other big hits of the 80s too. She also had a great comeback in the 90s with "I Don't Wanna Fight".

Her first solo single was a top 10 UK hit. A cover version of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together".
