Ill go with Footloose.  Its jam packed with great tunes in so many different styles.  You go from Kenny Loggins schlock, to funky R&B of Shalamar to the 'Bang Your Head' of Quiet Riot with some good ballads thrown in for good measure.

With songs like "Ain't That A Shame" and "It's All In The Game" to name a few...the 1985 movie called "Mischief" Starring Catherine Mary Stewart, Doug McKeon, Kelly Preston, Jamie Gertz and newcomer Chris Nash....this movie is my choice...though it was set in the 50's ;)

Hmmm, I don't have any of these, cept Footloose (on vinyl). I do have many of the songs from them on other albums though. I do have Beverly Hills Cop, Ladyhawke, Neverending Story, Some Kind of Wonderful, Labyrinth, and a few others though. I'll probably go with Some Kind of Wonderful, even though it's missing several major songs from the movie.

I've gone for other. There've been some great soundtracks mentioned in this thread, so I'll avoid repetition and say that McVicar is my favourite with Mike's Murder (Joe Jackson) a close second.

I thought the film of Mike's Murder was dire, but the soundtrack superb.
