Can't stand Metallica - never could. Great musicians though. It's just that James Hetfield's voice sounds like he is gargling glass! >:(

I don't like Madonna though there is some good 'eye candy' in her videos. I do have to give her credit for knowing what she wants and going for it...plus the fact she can (could?) spot a trend and ride it long enough to make it her own.

the smiths. i don't know the attraction but i do know their influence. so i respect them.

John Couger Mellencamp. He's not afraid to speak his mind, whether through as song or a statement, even if it goes against the mainstream thinking.

I don't like his behavior up til now, but I respect his musical contributions - Michael Jackson.
