For me, it would be a tossup between Don't Dream It's Over and Something So Strong.

Even though it's from the early 90's, another cool song of theirs is "Locked Out" which was from the movie Reality Bites.

Crowded House have SO many fantastic songs, but my favourite is 'Into Temptation'

Other: 'Weather With You'...their biggest hit here (I think), and it hasn't dated one bit...

I like Don't Dream It's Over, but it is a bit overplayed. But I do like Something So Strong.

Yes, a brilliant band and one of my favourite gigs of all time, at a small club in Manchester in 1991.
3 years later I saw them again when they sold out a massive arena in Manchester - not such a good gig though.

Absolutely Vile - during "Chocolate Cake" at the 1991 gig, someone threw a real chocolate cake onto the stage and
the bass player (forgot his name?) stopped the song, got the cake thrower onto the stage to takeover bass duties and sat down through the rest of the song and ate the whole cake - this is true!.

Crowded House were essentially Split Enz without Tim Finn, but then he joined them later on, and they ended up being Split Enz under a different name. :)

I truly don't think you can compare Split Enz and Crowded House as they have two distinctly different sounds. Also, only two members of Split Enz formed Crowded House  ;)

I am so pissed that their are covers of DDIO, I heard Sixpence None The Richer singing it and I wanted to puke it's so bad.

BTW does anyone remember back in the late 80's early 90's they gave out cassettes in cereal and each side had a different artist? Crowded House had a song on it and I can't remember what it was and I think I loved the song. I've had a hard time figuring out what it is.
