'Time...' for me...
(I'm just waiting for the first person to pick the song with possibly the most banal lyric ever written...'The War Song'...there's gotta be one...!!)

Much of their stuff sounded good in the '80s, but doesn't today.
Except for...
Time (Clock of the Heart) (1984 or 1982 ?)
It's my favorite of theirs.

DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HURT ME
I loved that song even before I knew there was a guy named Boy George who dressed like a woman.
It's got a great reggae rhythm, and best showcases the Boy's creamy vocals.

I just had to pick it. Clichéd? Perhaps. Catchy? Absolutely. ;)
P.S. I like the one with the Spanish chorus best. :)

I liked 'I'll tumble for ya'. I like most of Culture Club's stuff though.
'The War Song', admitted Boy George, was probably the worst thing he ever did. However, I like this song because of it's 'crapness'. I can't describe it - it's like watching Ed Wood's Plan 9 from Outer Space.

The 'Spanish' version was stuck on the 12" issue here (I think...) - I do remember it being played quite a bit...(probably because then no-one had to stomach the words in English...!!)
Rather strange that they chose to release the song right on the heels of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Two Tribes' (also an anti-war song and one of our biggest sellers of 1984)...the critics couldn't swallow it and neither could the public...CC's fortunes went rapidly downhill thereafter...

Nah, they were already downhill; which kind of explains it - Don't you think? Boy George’s relationship with his drummer was effectively ending.

I've never heard any anyone refer to a singer's voice as "creamy".
Wait, let me be more specific: I've never heard of another male refer to another man's voice as being "creamy".
It just sounded odd, dude (coming from you).

One of their best was "White Boys Can't Control It." A fusion of funk and mariachi with crypitic homo-erotic lyrics. Hmmm....
"Black Money" was an awesome song, too.

My favourite is War Song too. I used to sing it on the way to school making up my own lyrics. ;D
Seeing as it's not on the poll, I voted for "I'll Tumble 4 Ya".
