I no they're probably not many Eurythmics fans on here, but I'd appreciate it if you voted. Thanks.
Love Lennox

I love Missionary Man, but I didn't put that one on because it didn't do very well in the charts so I figured it wouldn't get many votes. Is that Christina Aguilera on your avatar?

Eurythmics. I like 'em in this order...
1. "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)" (1985) (A great '80s song :) )
2. "Would I Lie to You?" (1985)
(I'm really tired of hearing that overplayed "Sweet Dreams") :(
;D

I still love Sweet Dreams even though it is a little overplayed. So, do you actually like Eurythmiscs then?

Do I like the Eurythmics? Yes, but I like Annie Lennox more (I like her "No More "I Love You's", too).ÂÂ
I'm just tired of hearing "Sweet Dreams" when they have better songs. :D

Annie Lennox is definitely one of my favorite female singers of all-time. She has a wicked voice...with a charismatic style to go with it.

I like Eurythmics as well...but I like Love Song for a Vampire and No More I Love You's...the best thing about the movie Striptease (w/ Demi Moore) is the soundtrack which is mostly Annie Lennox.

SEXCRIME (1984)
Because I'm prejudiced in favor of anything even remotely connected to George Orwell, and Eurythmics made a superb soundtrack for Michael Radford's masterful cinematic rendering of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four.
One of my favorite Eurythmics tracks is on the Savage album.
BEETHOVEN (I LOVE TO LISTEN TO)
It's very fun and quirky, and it reminds me of the Art Of Noise.

I love Sweet Dreams but have often wondered about the lyrics. "Like the deserts miss the rain"...... Well, either the main character REALLY missed him (because everything needs water), OR...... it was all a farce, because the desert does NOT miss the rain. Most desert plants would die if they got too much rain, and therefor, they never miss the rain. Another thing to ponder......

It is pretty hard to choose, with so many great songs. I chose "Thorn In My Side" from the list, but my favourites in no particular order:
Missionary Man
Love Is A Stranger
Angel
Julia
Shame
They had some great videos too, my fave being "King And Queen Of America" -what an absolute crack-up! ;D

"Here Comes The Rain Again" (the longer version)
"Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)" (the shorter version, even though it's repetitive)
"Missionary Man"
