Walk Like An Egyptian got my vote too.
I saw The Bangles play in concert while I was working in USA (at the Mid Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY) in 1989.
It was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, they were just great and the audience went wild. The crowd noise was so loud that I got that rushing in my ears that you get when the pressure of the sound wave is just overwhelming.

I voted for "Eternal Flame"...beautiful song....

'Manic Monday' for me...although it was written by an artist I don't care much for - Prince...!

Strange how the band called it a day right at their peak...(not the only ones, I'll grant you...!)

I picked Hazy Shade of Winter-in fact I think I like the way the Bangles did it better than Simon & Garfunkle (I usually don't like remakes better). That is followed by Manic Monday. Love both of those songs.

Oh, I picked Manic Monday. It's more easy to listen to than the slow Eternal Flame (though I do like it).

I know it's the most popular, but I had to go with Manic Monday.  Problem with the Bangles was that all their best songs were written by someone else.

The band does have impeccable taste when picking out cover's, but their own material is just as strong (if not stronger) as any cover they've ever recorded.  Compare the original guitar oriented "Hero takes a fall" to the flaky novelty song "Walk like an Egyptian" for instance. How can you say "Egyptian" is a better song quality wise?

I don't think it's fair to say that the Bangles best songs were written by someone else. It might be more accurate to say that the Bangles best songs (with the exception of "If she knew") were never released as singles for the world to hear. And those were almost always written by the band, not by someone else. "Return Post", "Crash and Burn", "Tell Me", "Bell Jar", "Glitter Years", "Dover Beach", etc.. etc.. run circles around most of the covers they ever recorded.

My favorite on the poll above is "If she knew what she want".

I Love the Extended Mix of Manic Monday. It has a cool break in the middle of the song.

In Your Room got my vote. Though I love Eternal Flame, If She Knew What She Wants, Going Down to Liverpool, and Hazy Shade of Winter receives my love as well.
